After years of studying nature I have come to understand how to recognize edible mushrooms.  First off, don't eat any wild mushroom that looks like anything on this page.  That rule is 100% firm.  Many people hunt mushrooms using the appearance of the mushroom as the determining factor.  WRONG!  The secret is choosing mushrooms based on WHERE you find them.  Like real estate the key is location, location, location.
You will find edible mushrooms wrapped in cellophane or otherwise packaged or presented in reliable supermarkets like Publix or Walmart. Granted, they can be a little pricey but have you priced a trip to the emergency room lately?  Glad I could help!
